Netpex delivers semi-independent accommodation with structured support for children and young people in care and care leavers.
Our approach focuses on providing a safe place to live, alongside guidance that helps young people develop the skills and confidence needed for independent adulthood.
At Netpex, every individual is allocated a Support Worker. The Support Worker is matched based on thier knwoledge, skills and experience, coupled with the needs of the young person
A Support Worker creates sessionsin line with Netpex's independent checklist to promote independence. Sessions include and coverareas such as:
Budgeting (including supervised food shopping if required)
Benefits (universal credit, income support/JSA and housing benefit)
Cooking and cleaning
Health and safety in the home
GP/opticians/dentist registrations
Applying for key documentation (passport, National insurance number, driving license etc.)
